Isobel Brigham trained at Chelsea School of Art (mentor Craigie Aitchison) and went on to study as a postgraduate at The Slade School of Fine Art (mentor Lucian Freud).

She has consistently won, or been honoured for major British painting awards throughout her career.

More recently she was awarded first prize and ‘The ING Discerning Eye Drawing Bursary’, shortlisted for the Ruth Borchard Prize and her short film ‘Female Pensée’ was premiered at the Portobello Film Festival, London.

She works from her studio off Portobello Road, London.
